Wire snares

Wire snares are a significant threat to the survival of threatened species such as pangolins, elephants, and rhinoceroses. Snares are dangerous in that they eliminate all animals even the untargeted species. Wire snare poaching is widespread considering the low risk of arrest and effectiveness of animal capture. This kind of poaching is difficult to detect the perpetrator, yet the killing causes a lot of pain to animals. Today our team spent the day in the wild removing wire snares to protect animals.
